Electrify America's U.S. network has more than 6,000 public DC fast-charging ports in federal data. On Oct. 20, 2026, the U.S. Department of Energy's Alternative Fuels Data Center (AFDC) Station Locator listed 1,223 public, available Electrify America stations. Of those, 1,193 offer DC fast charging, with 6,039 DC fast ports between them. DCFC Tracker, which builds its site inventory from AFDC, shows the same totals in its own units: 1,193 sites and 6,039 stalls in 48 states.
The 6,000 mark had already been crossed by early October. An Oct. 11 EVChargingStations.com analysis of AFDC data counted 6,025 DC fast-charging stalls at 1,190 locations. The Oct. 20 AFDC figures are 14 ports and three locations higher.
Seven openings between Sept. 25 and Oct. 15
AFDC lists seven Electrify America stations with open dates between Sept. 20 and Oct. 20, 2026, with 56 DC fast ports in total. DCFC Tracker also counts seven sites and 56 stalls added over its most recent 30-day window, down from 12 sites in the 30 days before that. The two newest sites, in Walnut, Calif., and Middletown, N.Y., both opened Oct. 15 and account for 10 of those stalls.
| Open date (AFDC) | Site | Location | DC fast ports |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sept. 25, 2026 | Target T2383 | Omaha, Neb. | 12 |
| Oct. 1, 2026 | Bellevue Place | Nashville, Tenn. | 12 |
| Oct. 1, 2026 | Target T2057 | Knoxville, Tenn. | 12 |
| Oct. 6, 2026 | P66 Santa Clarita | Santa Clarita, Calif. | 4 |
| Oct. 8, 2026 | Stallbrook Marketplace | Bellingham, Mass. | 6 |
| Oct. 15, 2026 | P66 Walnut | Walnut, Calif. | 4 |
| Oct. 15, 2026 | EVolve NY Middletown Galleria | Middletown, N.Y. | 6 |
The 12-port stations in Omaha, Nashville and Knoxville came first; the October sites in California, Massachusetts and New York have four to six ports each. DCFC Tracker lists the Middletown Galleria site with six CCS stalls and a maximum power of 350 kW. It lists the same 350 kW maximum for the two P66 sites in Santa Clarita and Walnut.
A year of growth by the numbers
EVChargingStations.com describes Electrify America as the second-largest DC fast-charging network in the U.S. Its Oct. 11 analysis of AFDC data found the network added about 9.4% more sites and about 16% more stalls over the previous 12 months. Because stalls grew faster than sites, the average rose to 5.1 stalls per site from 4.8 a year earlier. In the Oct. 20 AFDC data, 133 Electrify America stations carry open dates between Oct. 20, 2025, and Oct. 20, 2026; 104 of them offer DC fast charging.
The network is concentrated geographically. AFDC lists 331 Electrify America stations in California, more than three times the next state. New York follows with 87, then Florida with 62, Washington with 55, and Colorado and Texas with 48 each.
Connectors: CCS1 almost everywhere, J3400 at 18 stations
Of the 1,223 Electrify America stations in AFDC, 1,189 list the J1772COMBO (CCS1) connector. Eighteen list the SAE J3400 (NACS) connector type. EVChargingStations.com counts 75 NACS connectors at those 18 locations, about 1.5% of the network's sites, and ties the additions to a recently announced NACS pilot expansion. None of the seven new stations in the table is among them; AFDC lists CCS1 as the only connector type at each.
Pricing
DCFC Tracker's October 2026 monthly report puts Electrify America's average price at $0.613/kWh, based on pricing for all 6,039 of the network's stalls. The tracker takes pricing from each network's public data, and rates at individual sites differ from that average; EVChargingStations.com notes the price varies by market and time of use.
What It Means for Drivers
- Where the new sites are: Electrify America stations in Omaha, Nashville, Knoxville, Santa Clarita, Bellingham, Walnut and Middletown are listed as open in AFDC. Street addresses and open dates are on each station's AFDC listing.
- Who can plug in: Each of the seven new stations lists CCS1 connectors only. Drivers who need J3400 (NACS) cables can find the 18 Electrify America pilot stations that have them by filtering the AFDC Station Locator by network and connector type.
- Power: DCFC Tracker lists a 350 kW maximum at the Middletown, Santa Clarita and Walnut sites. A vehicle charges at the lower of the charger's rating and its own maximum DC charging rate.
- Prices at the new California sites: On Oct. 20, 2026, DCFC Tracker listed $0.66/kWh at P66 Walnut and $0.76/kWh at P66 Santa Clarita, both above the network's October average. Rates can change; the station listing in the Electrify America app shows the current price.
